About This Role

Job Role

We are seeking an individual to spearhead and enhance inclusive practices throughout our British curriculum school located in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be an advocate for inclusive education, manage SEND provisions, and ensure that every student is empowered to realize their full potential.

Job Responsibilities


Design and deliver captivating English lessons that adhere to the National Curriculum for England, IGCSE, and A-Level (or equivalent)


Teach a variety of literature and language subjects that promote critical thinking and creativity


Evaluate, monitor, and track student progress, offering timely and constructive feedback


Tailor teaching methods to accommodate the diverse needs of all learners, including EAL students


Prepare students for both internal and external assessments


Engage in curriculum planning and departmental initiatives


Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere


Actively participate in school events, pastoral support, and professional development opportunities

Job Requirements


Bachelor’s degree in English or a related discipline


Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE / B.Ed. or equivalent)


Demonstrated experience teaching English at the secondary level within a British curriculum environment (preferably in the UAE)


In-depth understanding of curriculum frameworks


Exceptional classroom management and communication abilities


Dedication to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
