Tarabya British School (TBS) is a COBIS-accredited institution offering a Global Cambridge Curriculum. We create lesson plans that align with the specific objectives of the Primary curriculum, utilizing computers, smart boards, and other technologies to enrich both teaching and learning experiences.
We modify our teaching strategies and resources to cater to the diverse learning needs and interests of each student. By fostering positive, supportive relationships with our students and maintaining an intimate classroom atmosphere, we collaborate closely with parents and school counselors to ensure optimal academic and social outcomes for our students.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education degree in Physics Education/PGCE or equivalent from your home country
- Teaching license/qualification from the UK, CA, US, AU, NZ, IR, SA

CONTRACT DETAILS:
Start Date: August 2026
Contract Duration: 1 - 2 years (renewable)
Location: Istanbul, Turkey
Work Permit: After receiving an offer, the applicant must apply for a work permit from their home country. (TBS will provide step-by-step guidance and support)
Dependent School Fees: TBS teachers benefit from free school placements for their children
Housing: A part-furnished 1/2 bedroom apartment will be provided based on family size
Vacation: 6 weeks of summer holidays, along with national holidays and half-term breaks
Private Medical Insurance: Provided by the school for TBS employees only, with public health insurance available for dependents.
NET Salary: Competitive salary based on qualifications and teaching experience

- Attested academic degrees

- ICPC or equivalent documents
- Marriage and birth certificates (and those of dependents)
