RAK Academy - Al Hamra

Situated in the southern region of Ras Al Khaimah within the Al Hamra community, RAK Academy – Al Hamra is an expanding primary and lower secondary institution. We offer an adapted UK National Curriculum from Pre-K to Grade 8, along with UAE MOE subjects. Our new secondary school, which encompasses Grades 6 to 8, will welcome its first students in August 2026. We hold accreditation from the British Schools Overseas (BSO), aligning our standards with top-tier international British schools, and we are equipped to fully support the ECT induction for teachers.

The Role:

RAK Academy Al Hamra Secondary is seeking a Science Lab Technician to deliver effective technical support to the Science Department. This role involves ensuring that all laboratory resources, equipment, and materials are prepared and maintained to enhance the teaching and learning experience in Science across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

Essential Requirements:

• Proficiency in English is necessary.

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children.

• A strong understanding of Health & Safety protocols, including Control of Substances Hazardous to Health.

• A proactive and adaptable mindset.

• Bachelor’s degree or High School Certification.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience in a laboratory or technical setting.
