Role Introduction
We are seeking skilled educators to teach English, covering lower secondary (Year 7) through to iGCSE level, and potentially A level at our school located in Koh Samui. Main Duties
· Make significant contributions to the school by participating in enrichment activities, creating effective teaching strategies and curriculum, providing support for individuals or groups of students, managing internal examinations, and engaging in outreach initiatives;

· Instruct students across various ages and abilities, pushing the most capable learners while assisting those who may struggle with the subject;

· Aim to enhance your own professional growth and development alongside our leadership team;

· Adhere to the school’s policies on assessment and reporting, follow the teacher's manual, and attend parent meetings as necessary;

· Engage in the co-curricular activities of the school in agreement with our leadership team;

· Show a strong commitment to safeguarding all young individuals;

· Tutor groups of varying sizes, taking a genuine interest in their well-being and academic success;

· Regularly assist with various initiatives like educational development or pastoral care, supporting the school and building relationships with students.

The Ideal Candidate
You will be a reflective educator who:

· Holds a good honours degree (2:1 or above) and/or a further degree in a directly-related field;

· Has a passion for their subject and can showcase the subject knowledge necessary for delivering engaging lessons to a diverse student body at PBISS;

· Shares PBISS's holistic educational vision and is eager to contribute to both co-curricular and pastoral dimensions of school life;

· Possesses strong interpersonal abilities and can foster relationships and collaborate with a diverse range of individuals;

· Is dedicated to ongoing professional development;

· Welcomes advancements and innovations in teaching and learning, and is receptive to various assessment and differentiation strategies in the classroom;
