The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and inspiring Pre-Prep Teacher to join the founding team at Queen Elizabeth’s School in Gurugram, India.

Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons in alignment with the Cambridge Early Years Curriculum, maintaining the highest standards of early childhood education.

Incorporate play-based learning, storytelling, music, movement, and hands-on exploration to enhance early literacy, numeracy, inquiry, and social-emotional competencies.

Employ a range of interactive and creative teaching approaches to spark curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning from the earliest stages.

Customize learning experiences by differentiating instruction to meet each child's developmental levels, interests, and needs, ensuring every learner feels acknowledged, included, and supported.

Monitor and record each child's progress through ongoing observations and developmental milestones, utilizing assessment insights to refine instruction and offer targeted next steps.

The Person

Qualifications and Experience

•
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.

•
A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

•
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Early Years education, preferably in a school utilizing the Cambridge International Curriculum.

•
A thorough understanding of early childhood education principles and familiarity with assessment tools and practices for young learners.

•
Experience in a multicultural setting is highly desirable.

•
Knowledge of local educational regulations and standards is advantageous.
