Old Buckenham High School is a small yet vibrant school situated in the heart of the beautiful Norfolk countryside. With an idyllic rural location, we are less than 30 minutes’ drive from Norwich, offering the perfect balance of peaceful surroundings and easy access to the city.
Currently, we have around 500 students aged between 11 and 16 years. Our vision is to provide an inspiring, challenging, and inclusive learning environment, driven by high-quality, evidence-based teaching. THE ROLE
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Design and Technology or Food Technology teacher who shares our ambition to improve, grow, and inspire students. You will have high standards and a deep commitment to providing outstanding teaching and learning that leads to excellent outcomes for our students.
Food - Food Technology is a popular and thriving subject at OBHS, and we are looking for a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our newly opened food room and will play a key role in driving standards through exceptional teaching, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our students.
You will teach Food Technology across both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging lessons that inspire a love of learning. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, a genuine passion for the subject, and a commitment to continuous professional development.
Design Technology - You will be able to teach across both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging lessons that foster a love of learning.
