About This Role

It is expected that the successful applicant will:

  • Uphold high educational standards anddemonstratea clear understanding of progression, ensuring pupils are well prepared for the next stage of their education and life

  • Establish andmaintainclear routines and expectations for behaviour, contributing to a calm, purposeful learning environment aligned with whole school practice

  • Demonstratehigh levelsof ambition for all pupils, including those who are disadvantaged or haveadditionalneeds, ensuring equity of opportunity and outcomes

  • Promote inclusion at all levels and fulfil statutory responsibilities in relation to the SEND Code of Practice, adapting teaching effectively to meet a wide range of needs

  • Contribute to the development of others, including supporting trainee teachers or colleagues, and show readiness to take on leadership responsibility within a core subject area over time
