About This Role
Lindley CE Infant School is a high achieving and popular school. We are seeking to appoint a leader for Rainbow club, which comprises of a thriving Out of School Club. The role will be based in our happy, friendly and caring Rainbow Club building, where we offer a breakfast and after school club for 24 children. This is a great opportunity for an individual to join our welcoming team of staff. The club and community space will run in term time only.
The role will include:
- Responsibility for the running of the Out of School Club (Breakfast and After school).
- Providing high quality childcare
- Planning and implementing fun and engaging activities through child's interests
- Liaising with parents and outside agencies
- Providing food and refreshments and ensuring that hygiene and health and safety standards are met
- Creating a warm and caring atmosphere throughout the Out of School Club.
- Managing and leading a team of activity support assistants
- Managing health and safety within the club

The successful candidate will be an energetic, self-motivated person who enjoys working and playing with children. Previous experience of working in a childcare or school environment is essential, but full training will be given for the role. You must have high expectations of behaviour and a strong commitment to supporting and nurturing children. You will be required to work on your own initiative, bring fresh ideas along with high levels of enthusiasm and a positive outlook. We are looking for someone who is supportive of our Church school ethos and Christian values.
