Art Teacher

Job Responsibilities:

• Creates the yearly curriculum for the assigned grade level.
• Develops lesson plans that are in line with curriculum standards and submits them to academic coordinators for their approval.
• Reviews feedback from academic coordinators and makes necessary adjustments to lesson plans.
• Remains updated on the most recent educational resources, including technology for classroom use, and incorporates these tools into teaching methodologies.
• Delivers engaging and dynamic learning experiences for students while fostering a classroom atmosphere that encourages education.
• Produces worksheets, handouts, and a variety of instructional materials that correspond with lesson plans and curriculum, alongside assessments and exams.
• Responsible for timely grading and providing feedback on student assignments.
• Assesses, documents, and communicates student development, progress, and outcomes.
• Identifies students who need additional support, whether academic or otherwise, and ensures they receive the necessary assistance.
• Participates in extracurricular activities and takes part in school events such as assemblies, meetings, and conferences.
• Ensures student safety is prioritized at all times.
• Collaborates with colleagues to share innovative ideas, teaching techniques, content, and professional insights.
• Maintains communication and provides feedback to parents during Parent Teacher Meetings and as required.
