About you:

We are seeking a qualified, proactive, and experienced Technician - Design & Technology (Resistant Materials & Graphics) & ICT to join our team in August 2026. This critical role within the Design & Technology department is vital for supporting high-quality teaching and learning.

Job Purpose:

• Provide technical and practical assistance to teaching staff and students in the Design & Technology department.
• Maintain a secure, organized, and fully operational workshop environment.
• Assist in curriculum delivery by preparing and maintaining resources and providing in-class support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to organizational policies and procedures regarding administration, operations, health & safety, and inventory management.
• Maintain accurate records of tools, equipment, and materials, including stock management and ordering as needed.
• Ensure all workshops, tools, machinery, and materials are safe, well-maintained, and ready for use.
• Prepare and set up tools, equipment, and materials ahead of lessons to facilitate effective teaching and learning.
• Support teachers during practical sessions by aiding students.
