KS3 Maths Teacher
About This Role
We are seeking a committed Middle School Math Teacher, preferably someone currently living in China. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of the British curriculum and showcase effective classroom management skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Create and deliver engaging math lessons that align with the British curriculum.
2. Teach mathematics to middle school students.
3. Adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
4. Continuously assess and monitor student progress.
5. Serve as a homeroom teacher, providing pastoral care.
6. Support students with a range of learning requirements.
7. Maintain regular communication with parents.
8. Collaborate with fellow math department staff.
Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Math or Education, along with a teaching certification (PGCE/PGDE).
2. At least 2 years of middle school teaching experience in international settings.
3. Strong familiarity with the British curriculum.
4. Demonstrated classroom management capabilities.
5. Ability to create positive learning environments.
6. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
7. A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to professional development.
