The Role

RGSPP is seeking an exceptional Head of Sixth Form to lead a dynamic and rapidly growing Sixth Form, guiding students through their academic, pastoral, and post-18 journeys. This distinctive role enables you to shape the ethos and direction of a burgeoning Sixth Form, ensuring that students feel valued, supported, challenged, and inspired as they prepare for university and their future pursuits.

The ideal candidate will:

• Establish the strategic vision for Sixth Form life and careers education, integrating outstanding pastoral care, academic excellence, and promoting a culture of independence and ambition.
• Lead and mentor a committed team of personal tutors, ensuring clear communication and consistent support for senior students.
• Oversee all university and careers services for Years 10–13, aiding students in their applications to leading global universities and competitive pathways.
• Improve transitions into the Sixth Form while contributing to admissions, marketing, and scholarship initiatives.
• Foster a distinctive Sixth Form identity focused on wellbeing, leadership, enrichment, and academic excellence.
• Engage in overall school development, accreditation, and compliance efforts, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team.
• Actively participate in the academic, pastoral, and co-curricular activities of the school, embodying our core values of Discovery, Opportunity, Virtue, and Excellence (DOVE) and adhering to our guiding motto: “Ready to Grow, Committed to Learn, and Kind to All.”
