About the Role:

As the Head of Department for MFL, you will be responsible for overseeing the French curriculum from KS3 through KS5. Your duties will encompass curriculum development, promoting excellent teaching methodologies, supporting staff development within your department, and upholding high standards of student achievement. This role requires strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of teaching French in accordance with the UK curriculum.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, or a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 2 years teaching experience in secondary education, specifically in French, with the capability to teach KS3 Spanish as well.
  • Proven ability to inspire and lead a team effectively.
