About This Role
The Role
The Director of Pastoral - Primary School at Shanghai Concord Bilingual School Pudong Campus (referred to as “the School”) will work directly under the Executive Principal and the Chinese Head of Primary.
In this position, the Director of Pastoral - Primary School will partner with the Chinese Head of Primary to manage the Primary School, ensuring compliance with the School's policies, regulations, and the directives of the Executive Principal and Chinese Head of Primary, as well as relevant legal requirements.
Guided by these principles and under the leadership of the Executive Principal, the Director of Pastoral - Primary School will collaborate with the Chinese Head of Primary to effectively oversee teaching, educational administration, and daily operations within the Primary School. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
a) Academic/Staff Management
b) Curriculum/Teaching and Learning
c) Procurement & Budget
d) Admissions
e) Human Resources
f) Strategy/Marketing/Government relations/Parent relations
g) Concord Academy Support
h) Additional duties
