About This Role

Our prestigious educational institution is conveniently situated in the renowned area known as ‘The Pearl,’ embodying a unique vision for academic excellence.

The Opportunity

We are excited to announce a remarkable opportunity for a qualified and experienced Physics Teacher to become a part of our team. The ideal candidate will have recent teaching experience in Physics at a school following the UK curriculum, whether internationally or within the UK.

This role is scheduled to begin in August 2026.

United School International is proud to be the first, and likely the only, school established on The Pearl, catering to the educational needs of the local community. Our exceptional location, paired with impressive architectural design and facilities, makes The Pearl a highly desirable destination for both expatriate and local families residing in Qatar.

Our school is equipped with a range of state-of-the-art facilities that promote teaching excellence, including advanced touchscreen technology, technology labs, art studios, and well-maintained indoor and outdoor play areas. The campus also features a 450-seat auditorium/theatre, dedicated STEAM and robotics rooms, a swimming pool, a training pool, courts for badminton, volleyball, tennis, and basketball, along with a full-size football pitch.

We are in search of dedicated and outstanding teaching professionals who can serve as positive role models in the classroom. The ideal candidate must:

  • Hold a relevant bachelor's degree from a recognized university and possess qualified teacher status, such as PGCE or B.Ed from the UK.
  • Have prior teaching experience in a UK curriculum school, specifically in Physics.
  • Exhibit a genuine passion for education, with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

In appreciation of your exemplary teaching and commitment to our students, we offer a highly competitive tax-free salary along with a comprehensive benefits package, which includes accommodation in The Pearl and easy access to various amenities.

Our school is dedicated to professional development, mentoring new staff to become leaders in their respective areas of expertise or curriculum interests. The role may also present opportunities for curriculum or department management responsibilities for the right candidate.

As a British International School focused on delivering the English National Curriculum to a diverse international student body, proficiency in English is essential, and we prefer applications from native English speakers.

About the School

United School International is a newly established institution located in the esteemed Pearl Development in Doha, Qatar—a residential area reclaimed from the Arabian Gulf. This vibrant community currently features spacious high-rise apartments and luxurious villas, accommodating around 33,000 residents. Upon completion in two years, this number is projected to increase to approximately 50,000.

This initiative is the result of an exciting partnership between Orbital Education and United Development Company, a prominent Qatari organization and the developer of The Pearl. It represents the second major school in Doha initiated by Orbital Education, following the successful Oryx International School, created in collaboration with Qatar Airlines.

The school provides a British-style education grounded in the English National Curriculum, while also respecting local culture and traditions. The combination of our advanced facilities and educational approach aims to position the school as a leading international institution in Qatar.
