About This Role
The International School of Monaco is in search of a creative and motivating MYP Music Teacher for the Secondary School. The successful candidate may have opportunities for progression to Head of Department or Head of Performing Arts (Whole School). Proficiency in teaching an additional Arts subject would be advantageous.
The selected individual will uphold high expectations for student learning and conduct while joining a devoted and empathetic team. Qualifications:
- a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- a valid teaching certification
- at least 3 years of experience with young learners
- experience leading choirs, orchestras, and organizing concerts
- experience working with peripatetic teachers and managing intricate rehearsal schedules
- a commitment to extra-curricular rehearsals and performances
- proficiency in multiple instruments
- skills in music technology would be an asset
- experience teaching Music within the MYP framework is a plus
