The selected individual will teach General Social Studies for Grades 6 to 8 and Business for Grades 9 to 12, as part of the High School Diploma and/or IB Diploma programs. They will enhance the educational experience through engaging teaching methods, effective assessment strategies, and meaningful real-world connections, ensuring students develop a deep understanding of social, economic, and business concepts.
Key Responsibilities
•
Teach General Social Studies (Grades 6–8) and Business (Grades 9–12 – HSD, IBDP, or A Level).
•
Deliver inspiring, high-quality lessons that motivate and challenge students of all skill levels.
•
Develop and produce learning materials and curricula that meet educational standards.
•
Employ data and assessment methods to monitor student progress and improve outcomes.
•
Modify teaching approaches to cater to the varied needs of students.
•
Maintain strong communication with students, colleagues, and parents.
•
Create a safe, respectful, and stimulating learning atmosphere.
•
Engage in extracurricular activities, departmental projects, and contribute to the wider school community.
•
Follow safeguarding policies and demonstrate professional conduct that aligns with the standards of the school and the cultural context of Qatar.
What We’re Looking For
•
A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant Humanities/Business field.
•
A valid teaching certification that aligns with Qatar MoEHE regulations.
•
Experience in teaching Business at the HSD, IB DP, or A Level (experience with IB DP Business Management is an advantage).
•
A strong understanding of Social Studies curriculum and pedagogical strategies.
•
Effective classroom management abilities and the ability to foster strong relationships with students.
•

Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
•
