Dubai Heights Academy is on the lookout for a skilled Secondary Science Teacher to become a part of our dedicated team starting in August 2025.
Dubai Heights Academy is a friendly and inviting workplace situated in the Al Barsha South area of Dubai. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated and visionary Science educator.
Established in 2017, the school provides an inclusive, engaging, and exceptional educational experience for an international student body, ranging from FS1 to Year 12 (2025-2026), with plans to expand to Year 13 in the future.
Our campus features cutting-edge facilities, including distinct buildings for each educational phase and a 380-seat auditorium. Additional amenities include three climate-controlled swimming pools, fully equipped science and computer laboratories, specialized rooms for art, design technology, music, and drama, a library, two multipurpose sports halls, a full-sized football pitch, various outdoor play areas, and a spacious cafeteria. The upcoming academic year 2025-2026 will introduce a brand new secondary building, enhancing our already impressive facilities.
The curriculum at Dubai Heights Academy is designed to cater to the diverse needs of our students, adhering to the National Curriculum for England while being adapted to meet local requirements. It is further enriched with Arabic language, Islamic Studies, Moral Education, and Social Studies. Additionally, we have partnered with MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) to create and implement a specialized AI (artificial intelligence) project-based program for secondary students, along with an early language program utilizing social robots for Primary students, enriching our comprehensive curriculum.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
- A B.Ed. or a degree with PGCE/PGDE or equivalent, showcasing exceptional subject proficiency
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience with the National Curriculum for England
- Proven experience teaching Science up to KS5
- The ability to teach an additional subject is preferred
