Job Overview
In this role, you will deliver outstanding Physical Education instruction throughout the Secondary School and play a key part in an active and inclusive sports program. This position may also open avenues for leadership in expanding the school’s athletics offerings, including the possibility of stepping into the Athletics and Activities Coordinator role.

Key Responsibilities
•
Develop and teach Physical Education lessons across the Secondary School (IGCSE level)

•
Design and implement engaging lessons that promote fitness, skill development, and teamwork

•
Organize and lead extracurricular sports teams, clubs, and competitions

•
Enhance and support the school’s athletics program and competitive events

•
Monitor student progress while fostering participation, well-being, and sportsmanship

•
Participate in school events and actively engage in the wider school community

•
Take on leadership roles in the capacity of athletics coordinator or director as required

Requirements
•
Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field

•
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position at an international school

•
A recognized teaching qualification, such as PGCE with QTS or an equivalent credential

•
Familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum

•
Native English speaker or possess outstanding spoken and written English proficiency

•
Commitment to Values-based Education and Inquiry Learning

•
Experience teaching IGCSE Physical Education is preferred

•
Demonstrated coaching experience in one or more sports

•
Ability to lead and manage extracurricular sports programs
