Due to an internal appointment, we are seeking a professional, nurturing, friendly and resilient person to work as part of our inclusion teaching team, teaching SEN Pupils across the school particularly pupils in our SEN Inclusion Base (The Nook) and our Specialist Resource Provision for Autistic Spectrum Disorder (Acorns).
We are seeking a candidate who considers themselves to be dynamic, who is confident and considerate when dealing with children and adults, who is willing to go the extra mile to get the job done and who loves a challenge. We are seeking someone with experience of working with children with complex special educational needs (particularly children with ASD and SLCN) and experience of alternative curriculum pathways (e.g. pre and semi formal). You would be working with a team of adults and must be confident directing their work on a day-to-day basis under the guidance of the inclusion team.
