View Full School Profile & VacanciesDallington School, a charming family-oriented institution located in the center of Madrid
Dallington School is a contemporary and vibrant family school nestled in an appealing residential neighborhood close to Madrid’s heart. As we anticipate steady growth in the coming years, we remain dedicated to preserving our welcoming and nurturing environment across both of our campuses: the EYFS Site at Ronda de Sobradiel 20, and our newly established Primary and Secondary Site at Calle Castillo de Aysa 8, conveniently nearby.
In the future, Dallington School will serve students aged 2 to 18. Currently, we have more than 500 students enrolled from Pre-Nursery through Key Stage 4. Each year, we will expand our offerings to include our older students as we prepare for IGCSEs by the 2024-2025 academic year. As a recognized Cambridge University Centre, we are also set to begin the accreditation process for the IB Diploma for our Year 12 and Year 13 students.
Our educational philosophy at Dallington School emphasizes a creative approach to the curriculum and diverse teaching methodologies. Our primary goal is to nurture the self-confidence and fullest potential of every student. While many schools claim to prioritize this, we are genuinely committed to making it a reality.
To ensure the success of Dallington School, we seek dedicated and skilled educators who aspire to grow with us professionally, embracing new challenges and leadership roles.
The core mission of Dallington School is to deliver a comprehensive and stimulating curriculum in an environment where every student is content, possesses strong values, and develops knowledge, skills, and creativity. Our school fosters a warm and friendly atmosphere, allowing students to feel comfortable and enjoy their educational experiences. Our staff is deeply devoted to education and fundamental human values, consistently striving to support and facilitate student progress while maintaining an atmosphere of care, mutual respect, and trust.
At Dallington, we recognize the individuality of each child. Every student brings a unique set of intelligences, abilities, interests, and learning styles. Our educational approach maximizes each pupil's potential and strongly supports their overall personal and academic development, including self-confidence, effort, communication and thinking skills, teamwork, and social and global awareness.
To achieve this, we maintain a favorable pupil-teacher ratio, employ fully qualified British teachers, and utilize qualified support staff. Our rigorous quality control and self-review processes, along with a commitment to ongoing professional development, focus on innovative and creative teaching and learning strategies.
Dallington School places a strong emphasis on values-based education, guiding our students to appreciate the significance of family, loving relationships, respect for others, generosity, hard work, and responsibility. Additionally, spiritual education is an integral aspect of our curriculum, reflected in our innovative Personal, Social, Health, and Emotional Education program, along with an optional Catholic Education program.
Regarding health education, we firmly believe that children will adopt healthy lifestyles if they are raised with the right practices from an early age, supported by appropriate guidance. Therefore, our school menus exclusively feature ecological products, and we prioritize physical education. In addition to our own recreational and sports facilities, we also have access to nearby sports centers and clubs.

Dallington School is a small yet ambitious institution. It is an ideal setting for teachers who appreciate challenges, promote a creative atmosphere, and embody the school's core values: generosity, solidarity, and global social awareness. Dallington fosters a positive environment with a robust support network. As someone who has relocated to Madrid with a young family, I can attest to the incredible assistance I received while settling in, especially as I was new to the city and had limited Spanish skills. Madrid is such a vibrant place! -Mr. Peter Hay, Year 6 Teacher and Head of Primary and Secondary-
