ROLE
We are looking for a Lower Secondary Computing teacher who is skilled in incorporating technology into the educational framework across multiple subjects, including humanities, the arts, and language learning.
Start date: August 2026.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
•
A solid academic background in Computing, Computer Science, ICT, Programming, or a related field.
•
Previous experience in educational settings.
•
Strong programming and ICT skills, with the ability to deliver creative, practical, and engaging lessons.
•
Experience teaching the Cambridge International Curriculum for Lower Secondary and iGCSE.
•
Excellent English communication skills, along with a willingness to learn Portuguese (if not already fluent).
•
The ability to work collaboratively within a cross-curricular teaching framework.
•
A proactive approach and attentiveness to engage and challenge students.
•
Strong classroom management skills.
•
A commitment to effectively monitor the individual needs, progress, and growth of students.
