Job Description:
As an IB Math Teacher at Riffa Views International School, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective mathematics instruction that aligns with the IB DP curriculum. Your responsibilities will include fostering student learning by enhancing critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a thorough understanding of mathematical concepts. The ideal candidate will collaborate with colleagues to improve educational practices and positively impact the school community.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or a related field (minimum requirement)
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in secondary/high school settings
- Proven experience in teaching mathematics courses for the IB Diploma Programme
- Strong comprehension of effective teaching practices and assessment strategies within the IB framework
- Ability to create dynamic lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of learners
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
