We are currently seeking an experienced Upper School ICT Teacher to join our outstanding team.

About the Role:
As we continue to grow, we are in search of a dedicated and skilled Upper School ICT Teacher to become part of our thriving international community at ELIS Villamartín. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and advance ICT education across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, inspiring students to unleash their creativity, build confidence, and reach academic success.
This position is a permanent, full-time role with an anticipated start date in September 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and high-quality ICT lessons to students aged 11–16, preparing them for IGCSE examinations with the potential for expansion into Sixth Form and the introduction of Computer Science as a future qualification.
• Assessment and Feedback: Utilize assessment data to effectively track student progress, offer detailed feedback, and establish targets for improvement.
• Incorporate the ELIS Villamartín Values — Respect, Care, Perseverance, Honesty, and Kindness — into all facets of teaching, learning, and overall school life.
• Monitor student progress using assessment data, providing timely support and challenges to maximize each student's potential.
• Foster student wellbeing and resilience, contributing to the implementation of the Cognita Be Well Charter.
• Actively participate in the broader life of the school through co-curricular activities, events, and enrichment opportunities.

Who We Are Looking For:
• A degree and a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent).
• Demonstrable experience in successfully teaching ICT or Computer Science at the secondary school level, including preparing students for external examinations.
• A dedication to holistic education, focusing on both the academic and personal growth of each student.
• Enthusiasm, creativity, and a growth mindset, with the ability to inspire both students and colleagues.
• A collaborative and adaptable approach, showcasing excellent communication skills and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
