About This Role

We welcome applications from leaders who can bring a real enthusiasm to the school and who will continue to model the highest expectations for pupils to achieve success.

Acle Academy is a thriving secondary school for 11-16 year olds located in the heart of the Broadland area only 12 miles from the centre of Norwich. We strive to create well-rounded, responsible individuals who seize opportunities, discover their passions and love to learn throughout life. Acle Academy has a strong academic record and a reputation for providing high quality pastoral care.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity for a strategic leader to provide operational management for an SEMH SRB provision. The successful candidate will enable pupils to re-engage with education in a mainstream school or transition to an appropriate setting, leading a dedicated team to create a positive culture built on the belief that there is no barrier to education that cannot be overcome with the right support.

Are you:

  • enthusiastic about supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs?
  • a dedicated and imaginative practitioner, who is passionate about creating an inclusive environment and empowering staff and pupils?
  • someone who has high aspirations for students, can listen to pupils' voices, and drive strategic collaboration with school leadership and the Local Authority?

The post holder will serve as the strategic link between the SRB, the school’s leadership team, and the Local Authority’s linked Adviser. They will lead a supportive team, ensuring pupils are heard and staff are empowered to challenge, while delivering a high-quality environment tailored to pupil re-engagement and success.
