We are extremely fortunate to have a wonderful Early Years dedicated setting, and one of the largest and well equipped outdoor playing areas in Swindon, with excellent facilities such as our own woods, wildlife area, two large playing fields, outdoor multi-sports arena and climbing park.As part of Excalibur Academies Trust, we benefit from shared expertise and strong governance, whilst maintaining our own unique identity, values and deep community focus.The RoleWe are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Midday Supervisory Assistant (MDSA) 1 hour per day term time only - Monday to Friday.You will work in partnership with classroom staff to support pupils during lunchtimes. Responsibilities include the supervision of pupils during lunchtime as required to ensure the safety, general welfare and behaviour management of pupils during lunchtime.The successful candidates will;Be enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed to supporting our valuesHave the drive and energy to enthuse and inspire our childrenHelp children in the food hall to be healthy and refuel for the rest of the dayBelieve in providing a fun environment whilst children take a break from their lessonsSupport children to engage in playSupport our classroom staff by providing a fulfilling lunchtime break for our childrenPlease see the attached Job Description for full details of the responsibilities and expectations of this role.Please check the Person Specification for the qualifications that are listed as Essential for this role.
