Computing/ICT Teacher - Primary
About This Role
Established in 2005, Gulf British Academy is a BSO-accredited institution currently serving students from Pre-KG to Year 11. Our goal is to expand our offerings by adding a new year level each academic year until we evolve into a complete 3-18 British International School.
Our recent transition to a modern, purpose-built facility underscores the aspirations of our owners and senior leadership to attain excellence. A key aspect of this vision is enhancing our ICT provision.
We are in search of a qualified and seasoned Primary Computing/ICT Teacher to join our team of Specialist Subject Teachers. In exchange for your contributions, we offer a comprehensive benefits package for qualified overseas employees that includes:

What you offer
You possess a thorough understanding of the Key Stage 2 Computing curriculum. You are a reflective educator who can adapt your teaching methods to enhance student achievement while fostering confidence and independence among pupils.
Essential requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in ICT or a related discipline, along with a recognized teaching qualification such as B.Ed., PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent.
- Extensive knowledge of your subject area, demonstrated through your experience, enthusiasm, and professional development in teaching ICT.
- Proven experience in the UK education system or international experience in a British curriculum-based, BSO-accredited school.
- Consistently outstanding performance in ICT and Computing across KS2.
- Sustained excellence in assessment within ICT and Computing.
- A commitment to safeguarding all students and promoting equal opportunities for all students and staff.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to inspire and cultivate positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and/or police clearance.
Desirable:
- Certification in Google Workspace for Education.
- Familiarity with Google Chrome device management.
- Knowledge of initiatives such as Philosophy for Children and Growth Mindset.
