Repton Dubai is a prominent international school located in the heart of Dubai, consistently receiving an Outstanding rating from the Dubai Schools Inspection Board since 2014. Skills, Experience & Responsibilities:
Continuously evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of personal teaching to maintain high standards and promote student success.
Critically reflect on one's own teaching practices to improve effectiveness.
Engage in peer observations of colleagues as needed and participate in observations conducted by peers.
Provide necessary books, records, or planning for colleagues or SLT monitoring as required.
Regularly mark, monitor, and set progress targets for students’ work.
Systematically assess and document students' progress while keeping accurate records.
Ensure comprehension and completion of assignments by identifying strengths and weaknesses.
Inform planning based on student achievement levels.
Conduct student assessments according to departmental and school protocols.
Prepare and deliver informative reports for parents.
Regularly evaluate student work through formal and informal termly and unit-end assessments as directed by SLT.
Communicate with the school Inclusion Team and Head of School regarding any students whose progress or behavior raises concerns.
Successful candidates will possess:
A Bachelor’s degree in Education or PGCE with a relevant specialization, OR
A Bachelor’s degree in a subject pertinent to the teaching specialization, complemented by a PGCE in Primary Education.
Experience teaching in a UK setting or a reputable British Curriculum/international school.
Relevant experience that allows contributions to our school enrichment program.
A minimum of two years of post-qualification experience is preferred.
