Our curriculum aligns with the national curriculum of England, providing Cambridge and Pearson qualifications at the secondary level, including IGCSEs, A Levels, and BTECs. Our main campus at Chaofah serves 960 students and is oversubscribed in many year groups. Starting in August 2025, we plan to enhance our Upper School site and offerings, positioning 'HeadStart College' as the leading educational institution in Southern Thailand.
In August 2023, we launched a new campus in northern Phuket, Cherngtalay. This two-form entry Foundation, Primary, and Secondary School (KS3 only) accommodates up to 500 students and will transition to a three-form entry school by August 2025.
BTEC Applied Science Teacher - Chaofah Campus
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic BTEC Applied Science Teacher for our Upper School site as we expand our Sixth Form and Key Stage 4 programs. The position is set to commence in August 2025.
The ideal candidate will possess experience teaching science to secondary students and have taught BTEC Applied Science at Levels 2 and 3. We are looking for an inspiring educator who can bring the subject to life and foster a love of learning among students. A strong sense of humor and a solid work ethic are vital, along with being a highly committed team player with energy, passion, and drive.
Requirements / Application Details
Essential Requirements:
· Familiarity with the UK science curriculum
· Teaching experience with students aged 11 to 18
· Background in teaching BTEC Applied Science
· Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution
· A valid teaching qualification: BEd, PGCE, iPGCE, or equivalent
· Proficiency in English
Desirable Requirements (not mandatory):
· Experience in an International School setting
· Knowledge of teaching English as an Additional Language learners
