Job Overview
Meritton British International School is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to deliver A-Level Psychology instruction, while also offering support in teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 subjects aligned with the candidate's strengths. This role is ideal for a flexible educator who can enrich a diverse secondary curriculum, contributing to disciplines such as Mathematics, Business, Computing, or Global Perspectives, in addition to Psychology.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide outstanding instruction in A-Level Psychology

• Prepare students for the Cambridge A-Level Psychology exams

• Assist in teaching across KS3 and KS4 in other subject areas

• Develop engaging lessons that encourage critical thinking and analytical skills

• Contribute to curriculum development and foster interdisciplinary learning opportunities

• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating learning atmosphere

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field

• Valid teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE with QTS or equivalent)

• At least 2 years of teaching experience in an international education setting

• Demonstrated experience in teaching A-Level Psychology

• Capability to teach across KS3–KS4 (subject area dependent on expertise)

• Strong command of English (native-level fluency preferred)

• Commitment to Values-based Education (VbE) and Enquiry-based Learning (EBL)
