Headquartered at 501 1st Street West in Rosetown, it spans approximately 31,252 square kilometers, bounded by the Alberta border to the west, the South Saskatchewan River to the south, and extending north to Biggar, with schools in communities such as Davidson, Kenaston, Kindersley, Outlook, and Rosetown.
The division administers 42 schools, including 13 Kindergarten to Grade 12 schools, six elementary schools, one middle school, three high schools, and 19 Hutterite colony schools, plus the Sun West Distance Learning Centre in Kenaston. It serves over 4,700 to 5,000 students, supported by approximately 800 to 1,300 staff, including 350-367 teachers, principals, educational assistants, bus drivers, and specialists.
Governed by a nine-member elected Board of Education managing a budget nearing $70 million under a policy-based model, the division follows Saskatchewan's provincial curriculum. Its mission is to cultivate a learning community that empowers, innovates, and inspires all learners to thrive in a changing world, with a vision of “Success for all” through lifelong learning together.
