View Full School Profile & Vacancies
El Limonar International School (ELIS) has been delivering a premium bilingual education to both Spanish and International students, ranging from Early Years to KS5, in the Murcia and Alicante areas of southern Spain for over thirty years. Located in Alicante, El Limonar International School Villamartín serves as a mixed, independent international institution for learners aged 3 to 18. Since its establishment in 2004, the school has seen its enrollment grow from 240 to over 550 students, leading to an increase in teaching staff from 26 to more than 55. In 2008, the school, which boasts a diverse student body representing nearly 40 nationalities, became part of the Cognita international school group. Over the years, the school's leadership and management framework has evolved, resulting in each ELIS school maintaining a fully independent leadership team, supervised by an ELIS Executive Principal. The leadership team at ELIS Villamartín is both extensive and well-equipped to support strategic initiatives alongside the daily operational demands of the school. ELIS Villamartín has established itself as a thriving institution, recognized for its strong community and impressive academic achievements. Comprehensive information regarding academic performance and university placements can be accessed on our website, which also houses essential policy and procedural documents. Since the 2020-21 academic year, the school has implemented individual digital devices (laptops and iPads) for all students in Year 3 and above, accompanied by a comprehensive suite of educational software and staff training programs. As a member of the Cognita Schools group, El Limonar International School is an equal opportunities employer, welcoming applications from all UK (or equivalent) qualified educators, including teaching couples.
