Established in 1972, Nobel Algarve British International School holds the distinction of being the largest private educational institution in Portugal, offering a truly global environment with students hailing from over 40 different nationalities. The school operates across two campuses, located in Lagoa and Almancil. The Lagoa campus serves as the primary site, nestled in the heart of the Algarve, while the more recent Almancil campus is positioned within the renowned Golden Triangle of the Algarve. Both campuses are conveniently located near Faro international airport and are just a two-hour journey from Lisbon and Seville. The Lagoa campus provides K12 education for students aged 3 to 18, whereas the Almancil campus caters to students aged 3 to 14. At Lagoa, the educational journey begins with a bilingual preschool, branching into two distinct sections. The National Section adheres to the curriculum approved by the Portuguese Ministry, while the International Section follows a contextualized English National Curriculum, ultimately leading to iGCSEs and A-Levels.
