The English Schools Foundation (ESF) (www.esf.edu.hk) was founded by the Hong Kong Government in 1967 and stands as the largest educational foundation in Asia, providing a liberal education in English to school-aged children. Currently, ESF manages five secondary schools, nine primary schools, and a dedicated institution for students with special educational needs throughout Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and the New Territories. Additionally, two "all-through" Private Independent Schools (PIS) and five kindergartens are operated by ESF Educational Services Ltd. (www.esf.org.hk), its affiliate, which also provides English language instruction and various sports activities. Our student body comprises around 18,000 individuals from more than 75 nationalities, with an increasing number of local families choosing our schools. The academic program, which leads to the International Baccalaureate (IB), is tailored to the unique context of Hong Kong and the broader Asia Pacific region. Our educators are highly qualified and bring experience from the UK, Australian, and other international educational systems.
