The Island Private School serves as a dynamic educational center, integrating three distinct programs (International Baccalaureate, Waldorf & Montessori) within a single institution. We adopt a comprehensive educational philosophy, providing a full-day learning experience (08:00-18:00) designed for international students from various cultural backgrounds. Beginning with Pre-Primary education, our school supports students throughout their academic journey, customizing learning experiences to meet each individual's needs and aspirations, while linking education to real-world experiences and contemporary practices. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality, rigorous international education that nurtures critical thinking, broadens global perspectives, and fosters the overall development of our students. We take pride in being the first and only fully accredited IB World School for the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP) in Cyprus. Additionally, we are unique in Cyprus as the sole institution offering the Waldorf Programme. Our school is committed to providing the most advanced educational offerings available. Currently, we are preparing to introduce an IB Career-Related Programme (CP) candidate. This esteemed program will provide Year 11-12 students the opportunity to develop skills focused on their future careers. Our Campus At present, we are functioning in a temporary campus, which opened in September 2022. This campus comprises three areas: Pre-Primary, Primary, and Secondary School, alongside outdoor sports courts, playgrounds, a canteen, two art studios, two music rooms, and two libraries. Future Campus Inspired by exemplary educational initiatives worldwide and collaborating with a leading architectural firm, we are poised to develop our future campus. The permanent facility will feature five laboratories, two art studios, a swimming pool, and a sports center for various indoor and outdoor activities, among other amenities. By 2026, we aim to realize our vision and create a vibrant educational community for global citizens. This inclusive environment will support the needs of students, parents, teachers, and international specialists, fostering collaboration and mutual support.
