Our UK curricula offer a variety of subjects, enabling students to choose according to their interests. Available subjects include ESL, Chinese, Japanese, Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Food and Nutrition, Economics, Accounting, Business, History, Geography, Global Perspectives, Art and Design, Music, ICT, and IT. BC Offshore School Curricula: Majestic BC International School introduces a high school program from British Columbia, Canada, to the students at MIC. Graduates earn a BC Dogwood Diploma, granting them access to universities worldwide. BC Offshore students typically achieve high rankings in international assessments (PISA Rankings). We aim for every student to engage in academics, sports, arts, music, and personal development throughout their time here. Consequently, we encourage participation in and leadership of various clubs and activities. Below is a sample of the student clubs and activities currently offered at MIC: STEAM Education, Electronic Band, Swimming, Badminton, Football, Basketball, Soccer, Model UN, Choir, Orchestra, and Drama. We also support advanced students preparing for various academic competitions and exams, encouraging collaboration in study groups for: Biology, Mathematics, STEP, Physics, and Chemistry. _______________________________________________________________________________________ Grading and Ranking UK Program Each semester consists of 2 quarter grades and 1 end-of-semester examination. Each of these components contributes one-third to the overall semester grade. This structure is consistent across both semesters. Each semester grade accounts for one-half of the total academic year grade. At MIC, all grades are reported in letter format. Please note that GPA and student rankings are provided only upon request. When requested, the cumulative GPA is computed using the overall grade for each subject at the end of the academic year, with equal weight given to each subject. The MIC GPA follows a 4.0 scale, with both internal assessments and CIE exam results contributing 50% each.
