CES PHILOSOPHY: At CES, students, faculty, and parents collaborate under the motto ‘COLLECTIVELY PURSUING PERSONAL EXCELLENCE’. This is reflected in our development of attitudes, beliefs, actions, and achievements that promote global awareness. We are dedicated to attaining the highest possible outcomes within the framework of the locally mandated and internationally recognized academic programs available at our school, including the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), IGCSE, CIE (A Levels), and IB Diploma. CES VISION - Collectively Pursuing Personal Excellence Curriculum: CES delivers the National Curriculum of England and Wales, upholding the same educational benchmarks found in England while adapting to our Egyptian context. The subjects offered at CES include English, Mathematics, Science, Art & Design, Music, Geography, History, ICT, PE, Modern Foreign Languages, Design Technology, and Personal Social Health Education. English serves as the medium of instruction at CES. Courses in Arabic, Religion, and Social Studies are available from Year 1, with French introduced from Year 3. Initially, CES operated from Foundation Stage 1 to Year 9. Year 10 commenced in September 2007, and IGCSE is offered in Years 9 and 10, while A Levels and the IB Diploma Programme are available in Years 11 and 12, preparing students for university admissions in Egypt, the United Kingdom, and other nations. The curriculum is further enhanced by a Learning Support program, English as a Second Language, a robust after-school extracurricular program, and various sports teams. Cairo English School is equipped with the capacity to accommodate up to 1800 students, featuring a building designed across three levels: Early Years on the ground floor, Primary School on the middle floor, and Secondary School on the top floor.
