About us: Panyathip British International School is a prominent International School established in the academic year 2001 - 2002. It consists of three distinct divisions: Early Years School, Primary International School, and Secondary International School, serving students aged 1 to 18 years. Panyathip holds the distinction of being the first International School in Laos accredited by the Cambridge Curriculum. Furthermore, it was the pioneer in offering the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) and the Primary Curriculum (IPC) in Laos. We provide a high-quality education at affordable fees, catering to expatriate children living in Laos as well as Laotian children aspiring to attend an International School. At Panyathip British International School, our primary focus is on the well-being of our students, achieved through educational excellence and high standards. We aim to cultivate future leaders who are well-prepared to be globally competent. We are honored to be a member of the esteemed Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA) and, in 2023, we proudly completed the COBIS Accreditation (Council of British International Schools). COBIS: Panyathip British International School is delighted to announce that in December 2023, we attained the prestigious Council of British International Schools Patron's Accredited Members status (COBIS). We are the sole international school in Laos to be granted this esteemed recognition. We are also excited to have achieved BEACON Status in the 'Safeguarding and Safer Recruitment' standards. This status acknowledges schools that excel in specific areas of, or the entirety of, the standard. As a Beacon school, we are devoted to sharing our exemplary practices with other institutions globally. FOBISIA: Since 2018, we have proudly been a member of FOBISIA, an organization comprising over 95 British international schools across 19 Asian countries. Our association with FOBISIA offers our students exceptional opportunities to engage with peers throughout the region and participate in various academic, sports, and arts competitions. Moreover, this membership provides us with access to a broad range of professional development opportunities. Safeguarding and Child Protection: Panyathip British International School is deeply committed to child protection, safeguarding, and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and adults. All applicants must be prepared to undergo thorough child protection screening, which includes identity verification, qualification assessments, police checks from both their home country and recent places of residence, as well as other relevant criminal background checks. Employment histories will be reviewed for any gaps, and at least two satisfactory professional references will be required and verified.
