The English Schools Foundation (ESF) (www.esf.edu.hk) was founded by the Hong Kong Government in 1967 and stands as the largest educational foundation in Asia, offering a liberal education in English to school-aged children. Currently, ESF manages five secondary schools, nine primary schools, and an institution dedicated to students with special educational needs across Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and the New Territories. Additionally, ESF's affiliated organization, ESF Educational Services Ltd. (www.esf.org.hk), runs two "all-through" Private Independent Schools (PIS) and five kindergartens, as well as providing English language instruction and sports programs. Our student body comprises approximately 18,000 individuals from over 75 different nationalities, with a growing number of local families choosing our schools as well. The curriculum is tailored to suit the context of Hong Kong and the Asia Pacific region, culminating in the International Baccalaureate (IB). Our educators are highly skilled, boasting experience from the UK, Australia, and various international educational systems.
