POSITION SUMMARY: The Nawigizigweyas Education Centre, a vibrant community within the Saulteaux First Nation, provides extensive K-12 programs and services to approximately 300 students. We are seeking a committed instructional leader to manage the daily administration and operations of the school. RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Overseeing and directing the school's instructional program.
• Offering guidance and support to teachers and staff.
• Engaging with parents and community members.
• Ensuring the success and well-being of students.
• Effectively managing the school’s budget and resources.
• Implementing school policies and procedures.
• Initiating a successful Saulteaux Land Based Program.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Master of Education with a concentration in Educational Administration.
• Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a principal position.
• Proven strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong written communication and reporting abilities.
• Experience working within First Nation communities.

• Ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, parents, and community stakeholders.
• Proficient instructional leadership skills.
• Aptitude for creating a positive and inclusive school climate.
