About This Role

We are looking for a skilled and committed Parents Relations Executive to become a part of GEMS Education. The selected candidate will assist the principal in fostering a vibrant and engaged parent community, which is essential to the school’s culture. Your role will involve achieving enrolment goals, delivering exceptional customer service to both new and existing parents, and supporting the school’s promotion and marketing efforts to relevant stakeholders.

Job Description
- Organize and lead tours of the school for prospective parents and visitors, highlighting the school’s unique selling points and presenting it in an appealing manner to meet or exceed enrolment objectives.
- Oversee the daily operations of the school’s Front of House/Reception, ensuring that high-quality customer service is provided to all parents across various touchpoints.
- Manage and continuously enhance the school’s communication channels, such as newsletters, to keep the parent community informed about school activities, which is vital for customer and student retention.
- Plan and execute parent/community events to involve parents in school activities and celebrations, supporting overall parent engagement initiatives.
- Share stories and photographic content that showcase the school’s academic and extracurricular achievements for GEMS internal newsletters and other school communication platforms (e.g., school website, LCD screens, newsletters, etc.), ensuring materials are available in both English and Arabic if necessary.
- Collaborate with the School Principal/CEO, Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and other Front of House staff to devise and implement retention strategies aimed at maintaining budgeted enrolment figures.
- Conduct regular surveys to gather feedback from new parents regarding the enrolment process and other relevant topics, compile the findings, and provide analyses along with recommendations.
- Work alongside the School Principal/CEO and the Corporate Marketing team to aid in the creation and execution of the school’s marketing strategy, which is crucial for enrolment growth, ensuring all marketing materials, including digital communications, are up-to-date.
- Partner with the School Principal/CEO and Registrar to create an events calendar that supports enrolment activities throughout the academic year.
- Ensure compliance with GEMS policies, procedures, and codes of conduct at all times.
- Maintain open communication with current parents to address their concerns, complaints, and feedback effectively, efficiently, and promptly, coordinating with other school personnel or departments as needed.
- When appropriate, promote other GEMS schools by scheduling appointments, interviews, and facilitating connections between parents and GEMS institutions.
- Attend project and staff meetings and participate in committees as required.

Qualifications & Experience
- A college degree from a recognized university is preferred (BA or BSc).
- A minimum of two years of experience in a customer service-oriented role.
- Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets is essential; the ability to motivate the team to consistently achieve quality results and meet sales goals is critical.
- Experience in relationship management, capable of establishing and influencing professional relationships with both peers and the parent community.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities, able to thrive in a diverse environment.

Compensation

£35,000 - £55,000 (Tax-Free Equivalent)
