Our school

MBIS is among the premier international schools in Cairo, delivering exceptional British international education for nearly 30 years. Our vibrant community includes over 61 nationalities, all interacting in English. Located in the scenic area of Maadi, characterized by a harmonious blend of modern and Arabic architecture, the school boasts an array of modern facilities. In 2025, we earned an ‘Outstanding’ rating across all categories during our British Schools Overseas (BSO) inspection, and we are proud members of several international and British educational organizations, including BSME, COBIS, and AOBSO. Supported by the British Embassy, we are also a member of the British Schools in the Middle East (BSME). MBIS is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children, young people, and adults. All candidates must be ready to undergo comprehensive child protection screening, which includes references from previous employers and checks with the Disclosure and Barring Service, as well as their international equivalents. The role

We are in search of a talented, creative, and collaborative MFL teacher who is committed to providing outstanding education and support to our students. The majority of our learners are at least bilingual, and many acknowledge the importance of mastering additional languages in today’s interconnected world. In this context, we hope our new colleague will strengthen our offerings in French and Spanish, further enriching the language-focused environment at MBIS.
