Visiting Teacher

Kia ora Kids at Home Childcare provides quality home-based childcare and education across the Auckland region. We are a very team focused organisation focused on quality where all of our staff are treated fairly and with respect.

You will be working with a very experienced and supportive team of visiting teachers, administration and management, who all work together to provide quality focused home-based childcare.

We are looking for a full-time visiting teacher who is proficient in speaking and writing in the English language. Preferably English is your first language.  

You will support our Kia ora Kids at Home Childcare educators with their day-to-day role of caring and educating the children in their care.

You will need to hold a NZ teacher practising certificate, either full or provisional registration.

This would be a great opportunity for a new graduate teacher, or a new mum wanting to get back into teaching, but needs the flexibility of work life balance, or maybe you just want a change from the childcare centre environment.

In addition, you will need to be:

• passionate in the care and education of preschool children

You will be provided with all the training required, ongoing teacher registration support, a company vehicle for work use, laptop and phone.
