About This Role

Are you a hands-on, practical problem-solver who takes pride in keeping buildings safe, welcoming and running smoothly?

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Site Assistant to support our schools in a mobile role, helping to maintain and enhance our sites across the Trust. This role requires the flexibility to travel between our family of schools in South East London and Kent, supporting the Estates team to ensure compliance, safety and high standards of property maintenance for pupils, staff and visitors.

Your work will directly improve the daily experience of pupils, staff and visitors, helping to create safe, clean and inspiring spaces for learning. No two days will be the same. You may be carrying out repairs and DIY tasks, supporting schools during periods of staff absence, responding to site emergencies, assisting with lettings, undertaking minibus checks, or providing an extra pair of hands to on-site teams as directed by the Head of Estates.

A full clean driving licence is essential, as the role requires regular travel between schools. A Trust vehicle will be provided for business use. The position will also involve opening and closing school buildings when required.

The role is based at Orion Coopers, Chislehurst, where our Central Team is located; however, you may be required to travel to any of our eight schools, including our school in Sturry, near Canterbury.
