The opportunity:

• We are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate team leader for our gorgeous toddler room.
• We want someone who has relationships at the heart of all they do and is ready to lead our team with pride.
• This is a full-time role (5 days per week).
• We are particularly interested in teachers who have some knowledge of Pikler and RIE philosophies, and who are excited about joining a centre where respectful, relationship-based care is at the heart of our practice.

Ideally, you will have:

• a recognised ECE qualification and current teacher registration
• experience working with toddlers in an early childhood setting
• leadership experience or the confidence to step into a team leadership role
• strong knowledge of Te Whāriki and quality assessment and planning practices
• excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with whānau and colleagues
• a genuine passion for supporting young children during this important stage of development.
