Are you an enthusiastic and committed teacher who is passionate about helping young people achieve their potential? Armthorpe Academy is looking for an inspiring Teacher of Social Sciences to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.
About the role
As a Teacher of Social Sciences, you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3 and GCSE, supporting students to develop their knowledge, confidence and enthusiasm for learning.
You will plan and deliver high-quality teaching, assess and monitor student progress, and provide feedback that helps every learner to improve. You will also play an important role in the wider life of the academy, working collaboratively with colleagues, contributing to curriculum development and supporting the wellbeing and personal development of our students.
We are looking for someone who can create a positive and purposeful learning environment, set high expectations and inspire students to succeed. You will have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to ensuring every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
