We are currently seeking a dedicated Middle School Humanities and Geography Specialist to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to teach Humanities within the Middle School programme while leading the development of Geography across the Secondary School, including IGCSE and A Level.

Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Geography and Education or a related field Recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS or equivalent Minimum of 3 years teaching experience within a British or international curriculum Strong knowledge of Humanities teaching at Middle School level Experience teaching Geography at IGCSE and preferably to A Level Ability to develop students’ understanding of global issues, environments and human systems Ability to deliver engaging, challenging and conceptually rich lessons Experience using inquiry-based, discussion-based and project-based learning approaches Strong classroom management and communication skills Experience in an international school environment is desirable Passionate about developing global awareness, critical thinking and curiosity Commitment to high academic standards and meaningful learning experiences Ability to inspire students to explore complex global challenges and real-world issues Collaborative mindset with willingness to work across disciplines Enthusiastic about experiential, fieldwork-based and project-based learning Dedicated to developing student independence, agency and a sense of purpose Committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice If you are enthusiastic about inspiring students to understand the world around them through Humanities and Geography, we invite you to apply for this rewarding role at Astra Academy International School.
