We are looking for a Teacher of Geography to join our team here at City of Peterborough Academy!

About the role:

Do you have a passion for bringing the world into the classroom? Can you inspire young people to explore places, people and the issues shaping our planet?

We are looking for a committed Teacher of Geography who can deliver engaging lessons, encourage curiosity and help our students develop a greater understanding of the world around them.

As a Teacher of Geography, you will:

        • Teach across the relevant key stages, adapting lessons to meet the individual needs and abilities of our students.
        • Bring Geography to life, encouraging students to explore physical and human geography and make connections with the world around them.
        • Monitor, assess and support student progress, providing constructive feedback that helps every learner achieve their potential.
        • Set high expectations for learning, behaviour and achievement, creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
        • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and share effective teaching practice.
        • Support the wider life of the Academy, contributing to our positive school community and helping our young people thrive.
        • Promote a love of learning, encouraging students to become curious, confident and independent learners.
