Job Detail
We are seeking to appoint a Computer Science Teacher who can help to develop and support this area of growth within the Secondary School. This is a very exciting time for the development of not only CS but the changing world of technology within the context of the school setting.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience in teaching Computer Science at GCSE and A Level with proven results.
- Have a proven track record of providing outstanding teaching and learning.
- Have strong pastoral skills and experience in supporting students.
- Be able to use data to support student learning and progress.
- Be able to develop an enrichment programme to support the development and learning of Computer Science, this will include providing opportunities in the local communities and high-tech industry.
- Have an interest in or experience with teaching a STEAM programme
- Hold a recognised degree with a recognised teaching qualification suitable for teaching this course.
- Be able to offer a second subject.
- Be invested in self-improvement though engagement with the broad spectrum of CPD options available at South View School.
