Ascot Park Kindergarten sits within a vibrant multicultural community, located on the eastern side of Porirua Harbour, and is close to the communities of Waitangirua and Aotea.  The kindergarten is a focal point for the community by providing a connection between families and has close connections with local schools. The environment has been recently updated and features a large outside play area, including a new sandpit, banks and well-established trees.  The kindergarten is well resourced, airy and bright with a range of spaces for children that promote a wide variety of play opportunities.  
 
We are very lucky to have Rangikura School, Horouta te Kohanga Reo and Aotea College all nearby.  
 
We are licensed for 30 children who attend for 6 hours each day. You will join of team of four kaiako who bring diversity and experience with them.  
 
As a 0.7 part-time teacher your total hours of work will be 28 hours per week, worked as follows:
Monday 11.30 – 4.30pm (.5 hr unpaid lunch)
Tuesday 10.30 – 3.30pm (.5 hr unpaid lunch)
Wednesday 11.30 – 4.00pm
Thursday 8am – 3.45pm(.5 hr unpaid lunch)
Friday 8am – 3.45pm(.5 hr unpaid lunch)
